Accommodating up to six people, the villa features three beautifully designed bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen, and large terraces provide plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy, ensuring you’ll never feel crowded.

For smaller groups of four people or fewer, we offer a reduced rate. Below, you’ll find our rates and all the practical information you need to plan your dream getaway.

Occupancy:  Our villa comfortably accommodates up to six people, perfect for families or groups of friends.

Minimum Rental Period:  Stay with us for at least 7 nights and truly immerse yourself in the bush experience. Estate rules prevent shorter stays, ensuring the tranquility of the area.

Check-in and Check-out Times:
– Check-in: From 15:00, when your adventure begins.
– Check-out: By 10:00, so we can prepare the villa for the next guests.

Long-term Rental, Hibernation or Workation: Thinking of staying longer, perhaps escaping the winter? We’d be delighted to create a tailor-made offer for longer rental periods.

Important Guidelines: Our villa is nestled within a private wildlife reserve where animals roam freely. Living in the bush is extraordinary, but it comes with some essential rules:

  • Never feed the animals—it’s for their safety and yours.
  • Always close windows and doors when stepping out to keep curious visitors outside.
  • Respect the 30 km/h speed limit and give animals the right of way.
  • Smoking inside the villa is prohibited. If you smoke on the terrace or in the garden, be extra cautious due to the risk of fire.

Children Are Welcome:  Children are welcome at Villa Visvanger. However, the villa may not be suitable for babies or very young children, as it is not specifically adapted to their needs or safety. For instance, the outdoor terraces lack railings, and the pool is not enclosed from the terraces.

Environment: Villa Visvanger runs on solar power, making it eco-friendly and energy neutral. Be mindful that Hoedspruit occasionally experiences power cuts. Thanks to our battery system, essential amenities like the fridge, lighting, and Wi-Fi remain operational during outages.

To help conserve energy, we recommend turning on air conditioning only 30 minutes before bedtime, plenty of time to cool your space while significantly reducing electricity consumption. Water is equally precious, so please use it thoughtfully.
